Learning Japanese can be a lot of fun! My name is Mayu and I am from Iwaki, Japan where I tutored elementary school students in various subjects. Here in the States I am teaching both Middle School students and adults the Japanese language.

...I have experience in teaching children age ranging 5-12. I also taught adults English before I moved to the states. Although I have not much experience in teaching Japanese, I would be great with kids - keeping the lessons interesting by teaching them the cultures through songs, food, Origami etc. :) I'd also like to help people who just moved from another country and do not know English.

...The first reason is that I had been taught how to learn Japanese from zero start when I was studying in the college. I can completely understand what makes students feel confused about learning Japanese; also, I have my own way to help students overcome the difficulties and make improvement quickly. Secondly, I had been living, studying, and working in Japan for almost 5 years.
