I have been studying Italian for 10 years. I speak it fluently and spent a year there while in high school. I am currently majoring in Germanic studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a minor in Italian American Studies.

...I enjoy learning from as well at teaching those with disabilities. I had a great deal of responsibility for some of the students I have assisted. I have worked with students with the following disabilities: Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD and students on the Autism Spectrum including a student with Asperger’s.

...I use different styles of activities to get the students to develop math, reading, and writing skills. I include visuals, hands on activities, games, and specific learning tools designed to fit each of my students needs. First, I find it important to understand what my students already know in the subject matter; their prior knowledge is important in how I teach.
