Montreal is one must Travel Canada visit place. It is a charming city of Old World attractions and modern monoliths. It has one foot in the past and the other in the present. The streets are filled with musicians, restaurants, groovy shops and squares. In Montreal, visit Biodôme, Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, Centre d'Histoire de Montréal, Cosmodôme Space Sciences Centre, Jardin Botanique and Parc du Mont Royal.

The other city not to miss is Halifax. It houses the Citadel Hill National Historic site, the most visited historic site of Canada. It is also home to the Maritime center of the Atlantic and the Pier 21 Center. Pier 21 was to Canada, what Ellis Island was to the USA.

Visit the city of Edmonton. It houses the worlds largest shopping and entertainment mall and grand old houses dating back to 1891. Also, visit Nunavut. It is the newest territory of Canada and is just spitting distance away from the North Pole.

US citizens don't require a visa but a valid passport is required. Most Western visitors don't need a visa to visit Canada for up to 180 days. Others need a visa.

You will need to get travel insurance before leaving your home country.

Canada is well connected to major capitals in the world. From US, one can travel by road and rail as well.

Canada has excellent rail and road connectivity between major towns and cities. You can also take Air Canada or one of its domestic partners to travel the length and breadth of the country.

Several ferries run between USA and Travel Canada. There are ferries from the State of Washington to Vancouver Island.
