Adventures travel
For some, the sedate cruises, the sun kissed beaches, swaying palms, perennial rivers and dense forests, has to be a hard core escapade. Rather the adrenalin kicking thrill of exploring the unknown. Adventure travel is actually for the quintessential peripatetics who are constantly seeking new thrills. Essentially the word “travel” conjures up images of distant horizons and myriad cultures steeped in history and myth. For the intrepid traveler, tour is but an opening up of minds and a way of cutting across barriers, bridging differences and languages. In a way this also qualifies as adventure travel since one is venturing into new waters.
Adventure travel is about discovering new languages, cuisines, art, culture, people and costumes. If one has an experience one never had before, then it qualifies as an adventure. Likewise, if one discovers new places, even if it is in your own hometown, then yes, it qualifies as adventure travel. One need not fly across oceans and seas to experience the thrill of the less traveled road. Of course, while extolling the virtues of adventure travel, it has to be within certain safety parameters. While a lot of planning, sweat and hardship are involved, there should be little or no risk in the undertaking of adventure travels.
