Woburn is located in the Middlesex country of Massachusetts. The geographical location of Woburn are 4228′45″ N and 7109′10″ W. Woburn was first settled in 1640. It was the host for first religious ordination in the America. It was incorporated in 1642. Small tanning and shoemaking begun in 1700, but the major economy remained agricultural. The opening of the Middlesex Canal in 1803 helped to expand the leather business. Americas main rubber industry was established in Woburn in1836. Charles Goodyears discovered the vulcanization process in Woburn in 1839. By 1885 Woburn became the leading leather producer in the area.

It was originally built in 1790 for Woburn lawyer Joseph Bartlett but before completion it was purchased by Col. Baldwin. In 1815 Hall Jackson Kelley changed it to private school for boys.
The frame of building is covered with clapboard. The house was purchased by the Woburn Daily Times Inc in 1981 and is currently used as office space.
The Baldwin House: It is a Colonial American mansion currently a restaurant Chinese Restaurant called Sichuan Garden.. The original House was built in 1661 by Henry Baldwin. In 1803 the house was enlarged to its current form. The house is cubical in shape with three stories.The entry door is ornamented with pediment and lights.
