During this age lot of delayed and left out works were completed. Then the control went to the Minister of Transport and during this time the use of Motor car increased .In the 1970 they invented the new green colored coaches and during this time there was lack of funds and the fares increased.
Due to this inconvenience the Zone system was introduced which is followed till date. Then again it came under the state control. The busses followed after number of years instead different color scheme the red livery. The London rail has two divisions like the Heavy that is the national and the light rail systems like the underground. Now the latest development is that the over ground rail is directly under the control of London Rail .The underground rail system in London is one of the oldest and largest in the route length .Since they are cylindrical in shape they are called the tubes they also control the double Decker buses .London air transport is also a wide network .The international air services its controlled by LON.
