It is a smoke free place. Both single and double occupancy is available. All basic amenities are available like A.C., hairdryer, Internet service, T.V., satellite/cable TV, ironing board and telephone. You get continental breakfast from 8.30-10 in the dining room and the rates are included in your room charges. This place is not suitable for children. If you plan to stay for 3-5 nights then you need to pay a one night deposit, if more than 5 nights then two nights deposit. The check in time is flexible and check out time is 10:30 AM.
If you are looking for a home-away-from home then you must check out Nolan House which is a small non-smoking bed & breakfast. It is located near Boston Harbor, minutes from Downtown Boston, the Financial District, and the original Filene"s Basement. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all basic amenities like T.V., A.C., and phone available to provide you the home away from home feel. A full breakfast is served everyday at 8:30 AM. Children below 8 are not allowed here. You need to pay a deposit which is equivalent to one night stay which must be deposited within 10 days of reserving in order to guarantee reservation. You can reserve check in time by appointment and check out time is 11:00 AM.
In case you are interested in the Greek and Italian architectural style, you must check out Taylor Huse. It is a 16 room Victorian home built in 1853. Victorian-motivated gardens enclose this beautiful place and it lies less than one block from a striking pond and a town centre that offers outstanding dining. The ambience of Taylor House is amiable, clean and peaceful. A continental plus breakfast including fresh baked bread and pastries as well as fresh cut fruit and cereals is served daily in the first floor kitchen. The breakfast is served from 7:30-11:00 on weekdays and from 8:30-11:00 on weekends. You can choose to have your breakfast in the patio, porch or dining area. The check in time is 2:00 but is flexible and check out time is noon also flexible.
Do you like antiques? Then this is the place for you. A Bunker Hill Bed & Breakfast furnished with antiques with a patio, a pond with fish and a private deck is located close to Logan international airport. The two rooms available are the nautical room (off the patio) which has a king-size bed and private bath, and the second the waterfall suite with a double bed and private dressing room and on its own private floor with private bath and Jacuzzi. All rooms have basic amenities like T.V., phone, A.C. etc. are available. Children are allowed and this is one of the few places which allows pets too. You can enjoy your breakfast in the deck, patio or the breakfast room. The lunch and dinner are also available by special request for $4.50 and $8.50 respectively. The check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 10:00 a.m. Single and double occupancy rates differ.
A place located close to Back Bay train station, buses and subways is Rutland Square House. The place has a wonderful location that you can tour on foot. It has spacious, neat and pleasantly decorated rooms with either twin or queen-size beds. All rooms are air conditioned and have T.V., phone and wireless Internet services. The breakfast is served in the dining area and you can have it any time in morning unlike most places which have fixed time for breakfast. Some thing unbelievable yet true is that they do not ask for any deposit, you can pay by cash or travelers check on arrival except for Marathon, when one night deposit is taken in advance. You can check in any time, the check out time is 11:00 AM.
There are a lot many bed & breakfast available in Boston. Most of them have excellent facilities with calm and attractive ambience. The rates of most places are reasonable. Though most of them ask for deposits, yet it is better to pay the deposit and reserve your place.
