Move with Holocaust Memorial: To pay tribute to millions of victims of the Holocaust, visit the New England Holocaust Memorial. The memorial consists of six 54-foot tall luminous glass towers that are lit internally. Six million numbers are etched in the glass to represent the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust.
Hah-vahd Square:
Located right across the Charles River from Boston City, Cambridge is made up of "squares" —Harvard Square, Central Square, Porter Square, etc. — and each neighborhood has a chain of restaurants, shops, bookstores and music clubs. What else can one ask for. Infact, Harvard Square in particular is a must-see. After all its the home to Harvard University--the oldest university in the U.S.
Museums
Boston has a couple of museums which undoutedly boost the trade and tourism here. The one among them is the John F. Kennedy Museum and Library,
located on Columbia Point in the southern part of the city. It is filled with exhibits and film clips of the nation's most charismatic president.
The biggest of Boston's many art museums, the Museum of Fine Arts is about 2½ miles southwest of the Boston Common. There's a bit of everything in this museum. From its well-known Egyptian collection to big-time traveling exhibits.
The Museum of Science which is more than 170 years old is yet another asset to Boston. The museum features many interactive exhibits, an Omni theater, planetarium with laser shows. Dinosaur exhibits, fish tank plus plenty of science, health and hands-on experiments are other plus points of this museum that is 1½ miles north of the Boston Common.

Shop until you drop: Shoppers will find more than 100 places to shop in and around Boston including national and local stores. The first floor of Faneuil Hall that is bordered by the waterfront will give you an altogether different experience of shopping. But while you shop, watch out for jugglers, magicians and musicians in action.
Window-shopping:
Take a stroll down Newbury Street, where you can browse through designerwear stores and art galleries. If you wish you can get your hair trimmed at any number of fancy hair salons. Spanning from Massachusetts Avenue to the Boston Common, you'll find high-priced designer stores, including Chanel and Louis Boston, mixed with middle-priced stores, such as Express and Guess.
