...Tools such as Reading A to Z and Starfall really aided the students in finding patterns in the long and short vowel sounds and pronunciation. It was so rewarding to see a student read through entire books and be able to self-correct and sound out words. I teach students how to prioritize what they need to study and find a consistent place and time.
