After many years in the oil industry, I wanted a change: in July 2007 I passed the ESL CELTA course in Glasgow, Scotland and began teaching ESL in Houston. Classes are fun and helpful but many students would benefit from one-to-one instruction. I am patient and conscientious, two qualities essential for tutoring.

...I am flexible to work with a set curriculum or to choose a method that will allow the student to advance at his/her own pace while encouraging to reach and grasp more at a good rate. I have also found some tips along the way that can help with pronunciation and help students relax and learn. I learned to read phonetically and have had good success this way.
