...I began playing flute at the age of 12. I went on to play 1st chair in my high school band as well as making all-district (4 years), all region (3 years) and all area (2 years). I received numerous other awards throughout my years in high school. In college I played with the Baytown Symphony Orchestra as well as the Texas A & M University Symphonic Band.
