After my graduation I was fortunate to secure a position as a teacher at a private language school in Tucson, Arizona, and then as Adjunct Professor at Pima Community College. I held my position as an adjunct faculty member teaching Japanese for 4 years and received very positive reviews every semester.

I believe that the best way to learn a subject -- no matter how basic or advanced -- is to first thoroughly understand the basics. Only after making this knowledge truly your own, will you be able to apply these concepts -- not only to the subject at hand, but in other subjects also. A good example of this is logarithms.

...So in order to read and write Chinese, you have to understand the character and its meaning. It may be difficult for people who start to learn Chinese, but as they keep learning and practicing, they will get better and better. There is no shortcut, but it is learnable.

...I have been speaking Farsi for 24 years and I can teach it at all levels. Persian literature is my favorite topic. Farsi is my first language and I have been speaking Farsi for 24 years and I went to school in Iran and I also have passed university Farsi courses when I was studying for my bachelor degree in Iran.
