...Our tutoring lessons are most effective in one hour increments, and I highly suggest at least two times a week. It has been shown that once a week just is not enough to retain the information that is being taught. As I stated before, my wife and I teach this way, and my daughter is being taught this way.

...I tell students that I study best by looking in the mirror and doing it out loud. It is important that as a tutor/teacher you show the student how to study. As a tutor I will show students how to take notes.
