I also have studied French from high school through the university level, and I lived in France for a year and a half as a missionary in 1995 and 1996. ...With French as my native language, I can help someone else speak the language as fluently as I do. I always have the opportunity to travel to many French-speaking countries where many of my family members live. I have three kids (a daughter who is 12 and two sons 10 and 5 year old). I always enjoy helping them with French at home using the materials that I have.
