In my 13th year of teaching, I started out my Spanish class a little differently than usual. I invited my students to teach me something new if I promised to teach them a little bit of Spanish. My theory says that everyone, even the very young, has a unique skill or perspective to offer that could enlighten me – age, experience, and all – to something new.
