...I was a teacher with an after school program in the Bay area, where I managed classes of twenty kids. When it comes time to tutor, I like to reinforce skills that are being introduced by the classroom teachers, but adjust instruction based on a student's ability level. When tutoring reading, I have highly effective methods I use to improve phonetic awareness and reading comprehension.

...My strongest subjects are elementary subjects, all levels of French, all fields of science and mathematics up to calculus III. One class I offered was Exam Cram, which was a session where I helped students prepare for an exam when needed for the upcoming test date. I have tutored in a tutoring academy for 2 years, where I would meet with a student and tutor one on one.

I am very skilled in writing essays of all types, and I love to edit, revise and help others improve their essays. I have taken multiple classes in psychology, including some child psychology, behavior change, introduction to psychology and mental disorders. I am very good at working with children as well, and helping them to get excited about doing their homework.

...Throughout high school, I tutored in Spanish, English, and Algebra. My methods vary according to the student and how they learn best. I may show the student how to solve an equation and then have them follow the same procedures, or I may create a game for the student to play so that they find it entertaining to learn.
