I have been a teacher for 22 years. First, I earned my degree in Art at the State University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (U.A.S.D.). I later earned a bilingual teaching degree from U.N.P.H.U., also in Santo Domingo. After teaching for 6 years in the D.R., I moved to Pittsburgh where I taught for the following 10 years.

...Math is my passion, and it is an area where many students struggle and need addition help. I teach math through real world context as much as possible to provide students a reason to learn math skills. I also try to help the students develop the concepts and rules for math as having students figure out the rules on their own helps them apply these rules to math problems of all kinds.
