I have tutored students in Elementary and Middle school Spanish classes, as well as tutoring Spanish speaking individuals to speak English. ...From the first to the last minute the student will have to speak Spanish and use all his/her skills to communicate. At the same time, we will study grammar and vocabulary since they are both important aspects of the ability to speak a foreign language. I believe learning a language is a journey where the student discovers not only a new language but a different culture and history.

I learned Spanish before it was offered in school because I wanted to communicate with the new kids in my neighborhood who did not speak English. I wanted to welcome them and make them feel at home. My passion and love for the language increased with each word spoken.
