Hello, my name is Parjest. I moved to the Tacoma after living, working, and completing my Master's degree in Paris. I would love to share my knowledge with students that need tutoring or anyone who is interested in the French language.

I owned and taught in my alternative school, Hope School in Tacoma, Washington, from the first year we were certified as a private school in 1986 until the school closed in 2010. Students from prekindergarten to high school were enrolled. Special needs students were mainstreamed.

My teaching philosophy is to have fun while learning!I taught and ran an ESL classroom at Bremerton High School for a number of years. I have worked with a diverse group of students, helping them improve both written and verbal English skills.

I am a friendly Japanese mom. I have 2 boys. 8 years old and 4 years old. I normally speak Japanese in the house when I talk to my boys. They speak and understand really basic Japanese. I have a junior high school teaching license in Japan. I taught PE and health education for 1 year in Japan.
