Hi guys, let's post the Tower of Babel in our conlang's. It'll make for an interesting linguistic comparison. For those of you who don't post, you will pay dearly  .

Just kidding

Lingua Romana:

Would you be offended if I said your conlang resembles Hungarian on crack cocaine?

:D You have great observations - Avorenta is based on Hungarian (please have a look at http://avorenta.uw.hu). But I'm not a cocainist :D

I recognize the word "nyelv." That's about it. I take it you are Hungarian?

Yes, I'm Hungarian.

Another thing. Once I learnt the Arabic alphabet, just for fun. If I read it correctly, the Arabic text in your posts is " ašt flstyn hr a abya mn alnhr ali albhr ". How does it sound with vowels and what does it mean?

Aeetrcreejl, your first conlang seems to suffer from what I call diacritic overload syndrome. That's not a criticism per se, I'm just thinking it won't be clear to readers what all those graphemes mean. (Are they tones or ...?) But your second conlang is cool. It reminds me strongly of a Turkic language. Weren't you studying Azeri at one point?

The technical transcription is ʿāšit filasṭīn ḥurrah abīyah min an-nahr ilā 'l-baḥr. It means "long live Palestine, free and proud, from the river to the sea."
