Okay, I finally broke the suspense and used GT on Linguoboy's sentence. I guessed right -- the bed isn't warm, so the cat wouldn't like it.

Edit: And "da iawn" means "very good". However, GT also wanted to translate it from Malay, in which it means -- "da iawn".

There are better resources available. Unfortunately, http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/fun/welsh/LexiconForms.html seems to be defunct now. This is a real shame, because it was specifically geared towards learners. http://www.geiriadur.net/ is fairly good, but it has some odd omissions which make it frustrating to use. http://cy.wiktionary.org/wiki/Hafan has the advantage that it will give results for mutated forms. (E.g. if you search "gynnes", it will give you the entry for "cynnes", whereas the other dictionary just says it can't find anything.)
