Javanese and Balinese

Postby Mintzman » Sat 19 Feb 2011 4:54 am

Hey, This is Mintzman

I have a quick question. Can anyone explain how the Javanese and Balinese scripts work? I've reviewed it several times, and I can not find how to write in it. If you could help, that would be amazing. Grazie.

I'm interested too. Most of their letters have a thin and thick lines going parallel to each other. What kind of writing utensils did they use or what technique to achieve that?

I'm assuming that they use a calligraphy pen. That would explain how they get the thick and thin lines.

There are many kinds of calligraphic pens, and different kinds for different writing systems. They sure aren't using the kind used for Roman or Gothic calligraphy since I got those.
