Hello everyone. Allow me to present to you my new conlang project and what would be a better way to introduce it than to post some samples of that language. I might post a new topic dedicated to this language later.

Y'diera marai hosiemp turang Jelena= Jelena has a nice hat.

The language in question is called the Eide language and more details shall come later. For now, I would like to hear your opinions on this language.

It looks like an interesting language, but maybe this wasn't the right topic to post it in. Unless of course you'd like to to translate the newest "translate into your own conlang" sentence
Quote:
There used to be a time when all was fair and good, but those days are long gone.
I'm curious how that will sound in Eide!

In Avaa, a language I have been working on for some time:

Kjyym äkkällyym kjavapin dauššäjyym ghaskän api kjyym. Ghäsä kjyybyässejn. Koi, šuokkama kjyrhaissoihess.

Me friend-GEN me-tell-(directive particle)-past love-GEN s/he-has (dp) me. Him me-believe-not-past.
But, truth me-required-find-future.

in IPA [cy:m æk:æ'l:y:m ca'ʋa'pin dau̯'ʂ:æ'ʲy:m ɣask'æn apʲ cy:m. ɣæsæ cy:'byæs:eʲn. koi̯ ʂuo̯'k:ama cy:'ʁai̯'s:oi̯'hes:]

How about another sentence?
Quote:
People from all over the island gathered in the harbour to see the royal ships set sail, off to the war in the west.
(I just invented that, don't shoot me, I know it's a silly sentence)

In Arain (previously called "Erhain")
Dhar rwmanec sarsen porwban barocde amir lies chyrien caln, racandan cyradde.
/ðar 'ru:manɛc 'sarsɛn por'u:ban 'barokde: 'ami:r 'li:ɛs 'ʧyriɛn kaln, 'rakandan 'ky:raðe:/
