I am new to this forum, but have been intrigued by linguistics for some time. Sadly, I have not been committed enough to explore my interests fully. However, I am going to apply more time to it, and hope to learn IPA by the end of the school year. As a diversion from the hurly-burly of life, I am currently working on a relatively simple conlang, and am trying to avoid many of the first-timer mistakes. Anyways, I am native to English, am learning German, and have had a light brush with Russian.

So...yeah.
