Iso ciks (one word) -- we don't use a lot of x's in English because they aren't very common, i.e., mainly in loanwords. There's nothing wrong with them. In Tikolmian (my conlang that I always bring up), we use them all the time. :)
All that said, it's an amusing article and interesting "letters".
