Every couple of weeks or so, Simon translates the "one language is never enough" phrase in the header of his blog into a new language. Usually I can figure out what the language is, but this week I'm a bit puzzled. This time it says "lian ida deit la to'o". It looks Oceanic, like some Melanesian or Micronesian language, but none of the vocabulary looks familiar to me or comparable to anything I know from any other Austronesian language.

I googled the phrase and get various hits in a language that appears to be Tetum (from East Timor). Any opinions?
