I just finished an English translation of Zhang Wei's The ancient ship (張煒 《古船》))--highly recommended, by the way--and started on Nuala O'Faolain's part-historical novel My dream of you. It's been criticised for being too much a retreat of her autobiography Are you somebody? but I enjoyed that so much I wouldn't mind reading another version of it.
Marcus Aurelius: Meditations (this one actually I read all the time, like some people do with the Bible) John Mearsheimer: The Tragedy of Great Power Politics Nicholas Ostler: Empires of the Word - A Language History of the World
I recently finished Global Economy by Erik Reinert.
