I definitely made a major error in my conversion to metric. I'm actually about 1.77m. Sorry about that.

Hahaha, I was thinking, "How short are those people if he's only 5'1'' and tall!"

So... it's been a while since I have been on here. Luckily, a portion of the time spent absent was fairly well-used in my opinion. Last summer I attended a month long course at Kent State University to study Hindi. We weren't supposed to use the internet for anything other than this course for that entire time, so I unfortunately was not able to keep myself updated on Omniglot. The second reason is that this course has a Saturday session once a month, and that I have been busy with school work, studying languages and working on a research project on the Voynich Manuscript, which have had to take priority.
I have also recently started a blog detailing my experiences with linguistics that may be helpful for other high school students with interests in linguistics. I will be posting on the The Root Morpheme as much as I can providing information and links (to sites such as this one, which have been very useful to me) so that others won't have to go through all the searching that I did to just barely make several important deadlines.
I hope you will excuse my absence. :) (hopefully, I'm also somewhat less ignorant than I was previously; I feel I have gained at least some knowledge in my absence.
