Cloud and Rain

There are more on the way as there is no way I can post them all in one sitting! XD

Of course Tengwar is on my list!

Cloud and Rain is indeed very beautiful, but why does he call the horizontal system 'rain' while rain always falls vertically, and the vertical system is called 'cloud' while clouds move horizontally?

Japanese: somewhere around JLPT 4 level (out of 5), I guess. Also, I (should) know around 250-300 kanji.

Good question!

I have absolutely no clue. It would make more sense if he'd done it that way. I'm sure that there's a reason for doing so....we just don't know what!

More pretty scripties:

Tciaar
Sylabica
Hebreísmo
Ogibára
Keltic
Enganagri
Cáiuén
Tochar

And of course there's more to come. God I love these scripts.

I really like Tolkien's conscripts. I also like Aurek-besh, Daedric & Ian James' New Maori alphabet.
