A similar topic to my earlier thread on handwritten ligatures, but does anyone know about scribal abbreviations?

Are these scribal abbreviations still known today? Is there any documentation on them easily accessible? Anybody have knowledge of them?

The only one I know is that -us in Latin used tobe abbreviated with an x. Domnibus would be domnibx. This is where the common x ending in French came from.
