I think it must be. That verb doesn't exist in Hebrew though.

الشخص الذي بعدي لديك عيون سوداء is more like it. I'm not sure if عيون السوداء (eyes of black) doesn't sound better here though. I'll get back to you on that.

I remember I had a lot of trouble with translations of "to have." It's tricky because there is no one direct equivalent.

Don't you just use عند with the appropriate pronominal endings? At least, that's what I learned.

That can be used when the subject of a sentence. Ie. عندي قط "I have a cat."

In practice it's more complicated.
