Registration

Postby Admin » Sun 19 Apr 2009 11:27 am

If you would like to register on this forum, please email me with the username and password you'd like to use and I'll set up your account.

User registrations are disabled due to the large number of spammers trying to register. I have tried various ways to prevent such registrations, but haven't found one that works.

I tried to register just when the forums came up. (And they didn't really look ready then.)

I got an email saying I need to wait for the admin to activate the account, and I'll get another email when it is activated.

I didn't get any other email, but I can login, and it seems I can post. (I'm trying to post now to see if it works.)

EDIT: Yays, it works!

Can you make this thread sticky? Also add the presence of this rule in this forum's comment, like it used to be before.

As a lot of people might not realise this thread exists, they spend ages trying to find out how to make an account. Could I suggest you create a separate forum for Registration so when people wanting to join the forum come, they can see it straight away? I'm sure it won't take much room.
