Mine crashes several times a month, it usually works.

My laptop has crashed two or three times in the two and a half years I've had the thing. Our desktop has never crashed, and we've had it for five years.

Hehe, at the moment I am backing up everything from my parent's desktop / family media PC that we've had for five years on to my laptop so I can reinstall windows because the system files have become so corrupt the computer won't even open explorer and Ctrl+Alt+Dlt won't work...This was my last resort too, I've tried reloading i386\userinit.exe off the CD and copying it and copying wsaupdater.exe back. It has login issues and it's just crapped out. :lol:

But besides that the PC has never crashed before. My laptop on the other hand gets the blue screen of death once or twice a month but a quick button-hold shutdown and it is fine.

Well, I've only had the "blue screen of death" once in the 2 ½ years I've had my laptop. Apart from that I don't remember it crashing before.

A few times a year, mostly when I'd been using it nonstop

. Ah well, getting a new laptop pc very soon but still haven't picked a model. I like Toshiba and ASUS PCs.

I have a Linux PC and a Mac laptop, so never. I have had my present desktop for 3 years, and not ONCE did it crash. It's been running 24-7 for 3 years. It doubles as our home network server too

Same with the laptop. My Mac laptop is 4 years old.

Mine crashes now and then. Mainly by using non-stop. Hmmm...
