Is Argentina that great? I thought they were damned to have economic crisis every ten years... lol... Wouldn't Brazil be included in that group too, for that matter...?

When I was in Ecuador, I saw the same attitude towards piracy. I mean, come on, the policemen were buying pirated stuff! It damaged my poor naive First World (to hell with PC) mind.

I don't hate it at all, even though I admit people who take it upon themselves to be the "PC police" can be very annoying.

I don't see what's wrong with referring to people using terms they prefer, or at least don't offend them. I would say a black person is a black person, not a Negro or various other terms that are considerably more offensive.

They've got a high HDI. It's currently classified as an Upper-Middle Income Country or as a secondary emerging market by the World Bank.

Perhaps. I just checked and it does have a high HDI. I thought it was medium.
