People assume I'm Greek all the time based on my surname (and I am not at all; I'm Polish and so is my name)

The same thing happens to my mother & stepfather (my surname is different). People assume it's Greek but it's actually Lithuanian. :D

We're going off-topic now?

Lithuanians in Brazil!? o.O Talking about people escaping from the cold...

I have two surnames in Spanish, and whenever I tell people my second last name they always tell me how weird it is: "Chamagua", well probably of Native American origins.

No, it's my stepfather's surname. My biological father is originally from Brazil. His surname (& mine) is German.
But there are Lithuanians in Brazil, actually more than in the United States. There may be as many as 1 million Brazilians with some Lithuanian ancestry.

I've never seen it before.
