Hello, all! I would just like to introduce myself here on Omniglot. My name is Xander, and I have always had an interest in linguistics, particularly morphology. I live in New Zealand, and though I'm not quite multilingual, I have working knowledge of various languages. I did minor linguistics study in university as my elective. I have a growing interest in conlangery and would like to partake in the community!

I am also somewhat of a philosopher and naturalist, taking after the old ideals of the renaissance man or polymath. One of my projects involves decoding what is written in the Voynich Manuscript - it is my belief that it's actually a language, and not a cipher. If anyone wants to know what I've got so far (Which isn't much, to be honest.) send me a PM and I'll tell you what I can.

¡Hola amigos!

No soy hábil.

New Zealenders speak English? I feel ignorant. My bad.

Could i have a pm (or just post somewhere) some sample texts in your favourite conscript (of your own making)? Thanks!

It's okay, people think the same thing of Canadians. :?

Sorry, though. I don't have any completed conscripts that I can share with you fellows at this point in time.

Never heard that. Why would Canadians not speak English?

This was back in elementary school. Kids come up to me, saying "Can you speak Canadian?".
