Do you have something against gay people? O.o

Yes and no, I don't really think it is morally correct, but it affects me not. And it's not like being gay makes someone bad.

Besides I was using gay in the slang way since you used whale cum in a slangy way.

Oh, I guess that's obvious. But whale cum has three syllables and welcome has two. The vowels are different also, so I'm sorry that I didn't get that. Now that I know, if I say it aloud it sounds to me like a stereotypical southern accent. That's a gay way to say it though. lol
It does? Is there some vowel breaking going on here or something?

In my dialect both have only two syllables.

My dialect as well. But let's not hijack poor Dennis' thread!

How could it possibly have 3 syllables? Whale = /weɪl/ Cum = /kʌm/
Put 'em together & you get 2 syllables.

[ˈweɪjəlˌkʌm] then? I can see that in a Southern accent maybe.

Harsh. It's not like he said gay people have to be rounded up and exterminated or something.

Yeah, I say whale as /weɪjəl/, but I'm from California  . I might say /weɪl/ when talking fast but not normally.

I'm sorry. You asked a question and I gave an answer. What I find morally incorrect for myself doesn't necessarily apply to you. The morality of topics such as these are very subjective and your choices don't affect me, so in reality I don't really care either way. I wouldn't condone pain, misery, or death on anyone on the basis of something such as this.
