This is a photo from Flickr and I wanna know what the writing is on the paper or what ever it's on. It's definitely not Khmer or Thai since neither have some of the letter I see.

Lao is out of the question since it's the same thing above. So what is it?

It looks South Indian to me. I first thought Malayalam, but it doesn't look like it is. I think it's actually Sinhalese.

Idk maybe. I have to look at Sinhalese again and compare the 2 but I don't think it is......Uggh! This is driving me crazy! Someone must know what it is.

Do you think I should ask on Flickr? I doubt that anyone would reply since for some reason they don't when it comes to these kind of things but I could try at least.

Wish me luck. If anything comes up I'll let you know. Although I think I'll get a reply from here faster then I would on Flickr! XD

It could be Telugu.

Well if is Telugu there are certainly alot of letter's I've never seen in Telugu before.......unless they're conjunct consonants? But does the writing in the photo look like this or this? I don't think so....unless it's a different style of writing? That's the only thing I can think of.

But I'd like to know for sure as this was bugging me for along time. I just didn't know where to ask. I also asked on Flicker too. You'll see underneath the photo. I don't know if the author will answer but I hope so. As he's/she's the only person who knows for sure atm.

Thanks alot though. I've never seen anything like it before so I had to ask or it'll drive me crazy. XD

It definitely looks Brahmic...
I don't know, it could be someone's conscript.

No, it is NOT the Sinhalese.

(I do not know what it is, though)
