While I should be waving the flag for the Cherokee, I personally think it's too blocky.
My favorite 2 scripts are Balinese and Javanese.

My favorite alphabet is, without doubt, Hangul. It feels so... Korean!

No kidding! It's only used for that language, after all. :P

Abjad: Hebrew, but Syriac is a close runner-up.
Alphebet: A tie: Georgian for beauty, or Latin for usefulness
Syllabic alphabet: HMONG!!! I want to learn Hmong SO bad.
Syllabary: Creek, Katakana because they are both so clean looking.
Characters: Kanji, Egyptian Demotic (actually, not really characters now that I think about it).

Most Hmong speakers I've met are illiterate & those that can read & write use the Romanized Popular Alphabet.

This is true. I know only one Hmong speaker, and he can read the RPA. The script is beautiful, and it sounds so pretty. Plus it goes with my wishes of Vietnamese and Thai.

lol... I was talking about the Hmong script not the Mongol one, but the Mongol script is nice too.
(vi: đó là chữ viết Hơ-Mông chứ không phải chữ của người Mông Cổ, nhưng chữ viết Mông Cổ cũng đẹp thế)

That's what s/he gets for using the Google translator.

Hey, imbecilica, how would you feel about a Cyrillic alphabet for writing Vietnamese? I think Cyrillic looks more "exotic" than Latin.
