Last summer me and my cousin, Eva, went to Turkey, to their summerhouse in Imvros. On the ferry to the Island, Eva wanted to ask for a straw to drink a drink she had baught. She was surprised to know that the Turkish word for 'straw' is tsibuk, which in Greek (tsibuki) means, eh how shall I say it, fellatio...! She was like  I'm not asking for that. I'll drink it from the bottle, thank you very much!

Not to mention when we wanted to ask for the thing you throw cigarettes in, which in Greek is called Tasaki, but tasak in Turkish means (i think) balls. And she went around asking for a tasak :P

Strange how a word changes meaning when it becomes a loan in another language :P We learned lots of useful turkish words on that ferry :P :P
