Just popping in again to say that it isn't. Y cathod braster doesn't mean anything; the definite article can't precede a possession. You have to say Mae cathod braster yn cysgu ar y mat if you mean "the cats of fat are sleeping on the mat" -- without the 'r.
Thought I should point that out for the benefit of anyone who didn't pick up on the mistake.
