Dialetical Pronounciation + Language Family + IPA game

Postby adelgado » Tue 01 Sep 2009 2:33 am

I had this idea a while ago. It's a game:

Somebody posts the IPA transcription of a sentence in some language in a non-standard pronunciation, or a heavily dialectical one, something understandable but challenging, mentionnigthe language's family.
Then the others try to guess what language it is and what's stated. The one who gets it sets a new challenge.

Let me start:

[tɦajla]?
[th\ajla]?

It's a Romance language.

It is indeed one of these two. What does it says, though? :-)
