Intro.:[
In Shangchochainese there are five tones:
High level
Middle-low-high
High falling
Low raising
Middle-high-low

Tones 1, 3, and 4 are used to change the meaning of the original word. Like in Mandarin. These tones are often referred to as Inherit tones or Pìng Sá (빙ᄊ 사ᄋ).

Tone 2 is used to make the word negative. This tone goes directly after the inherit tone. So Xìa is yes and Xìă (치ᄊ아/ 치ᄊ아ᄈ) is no.

Tone 5 is used to make a word a noun where a subject is not used or where pronouns are used and the person referred to is not expressed.

Rules:

The only consonants that can be finals are “ng”, “n”, and occasionally “m.”

Tone 1 comes appears in words with the initials N, Ts, L, K, C , D, and S.

Tone 3 only appears in words with the initials G, H, R, P, W, T, Sh, X and M.

Tone 4 only appears in words with the initials B, C, D, S, Y, Z, X, Ts, J, and Ch.

All other Initials have no tone.

Tones are marked like so:
ᄋ=4
ᄑ=1
ᄈ=2
ᄊ=3
ᄍ=5

Words
Nōng Hò(농ᄑ 호ᄊ)=Hello
Tsē Wè(체ᄑ 웨ᄊ) =Good Bye
Chínmen(찐ᄋ멘)=Name
Nōng(농ᄑ)=You
Xín(씬ᄋ)=To be
Sā(사ᄑ)=Question particle
Tswè(췌ᄊ)=Friend

Phrases:
Chínmen nōng xín sā? = What is your name?
찐ᄋ멘 농ᄑ 씬ᄋ 사ᄑ?
Tsē wè tswè. = Good bye friend
체ᄑ 웨ᄊ 췌ᄊ.

Shangchochinese is a OVS but in the northern Min dialect it's a SOV.

With both C and Ts, you're obviously not using a pure pinyin-based romanization. What are the IPA equivalents to your consonants?

I actually don't know the IPA but I'll do my best, as for c, c is pronounced ts but ts is pronounced with the tongue rolled back like sh is in Mandarin ect.

B=B
C=[ ts ]2
D=D
F=PH ("PH" just siginifies that that it is the same sound as "F")
G=G
H=H
SH=[ ʂ ]
ZH=[ tʂ ]
J=[ tɕ ]2
X= [ ɕ ]/[ ʃ ] (Not sure which one to use, I'm going for a "sh" sound)
I'll get the rest later sorry I had to go to bed.

So ㅊ represents both ch and x? What value does ch have?
