So this is my first con lang.



sample dialogue in the language:

sou hapi.

translation:


Are you a girl?
Yes, I am a girl.
It's nice day today.
Yes, it's very nice.

The language is used mostly by people, who are cut out of the rest of the world, due to an atomic war.

It's bassicaly an English creole, but based on different grammar principles.

I don't know which script shall I adapt to it yet.

Anyway, It will be more phonetic, unlike modern English spelling.

Maybe we will go Lao, as I have just learned it (the script, not yet the language).


And also it has all the required letters we need for our conlang.

Does "different grammar principles" refer to a distinction from English or from the usual creole pattern?

Actually I think I will make it different than all the languages I know so far.






So here we go.


The language has a very limited use of pronouns, even more limited than Japanese.
There is only one pronoun, to make more distinctions, you need to use your hands.


the pronoun is hiir hiir.

which comes from English 'here here'.

You can use vectors to show the hand movement in writing, but let's start from the basics.



to make a statement, you just put a noun into a sentence.





buk! = this is a book

! part is important, it shows that this is a statement.



in case of adjectives you have to think if it's a positive or negative experience for you.


sou tayet - I am tired
hapi hapi! - I am happy

you add sou with negative adjectives, and repeatition with positive ones.
Simple.

a word about orthography:


the Girlish alphabet does not distinguish between u and w, and i and y pairs.



why?

because y and w letter have different values here.

I don't quite get it. Do you mean that you don't distinguish between "uw" and "iy", between "uu" and "ww" or "ii" and "yy", or something else entirely? Either way I can't see what y and w having different values (different how?) explains. This isn't intended as a criticism; it's just me trying to understand your language better.

So does that mean, that in your example dialogue,

the speaker isn't happy about the fact, that it's a nice day?ww
