Huh? Not I. The only place I don't want to go is North Korea. Well, and Mongolia, but that's just because there's nothing I want to see in Mongolia.

There are lots of places that would be as bad as North Korea. Sudan, Somalia, etc.

Anyway Mongolia wouldn't be bad. I'd like to see their traditional sports, and their music is pretty cool (throat-singing!).

Too cold for me, though. Ulan Bator's average January low is -26 C!

So go in July.

Say, aren't you learning/planning to learn Mongolian? Interesting choice.

Yeah, I'll probably takcle it after Chinese. It is an interesting language & I'm looking forward to learning it. I've already dabbled into it a bit. Getting used to using [ɬ]/[ɮ] is tricky. 8-)

It has [ɬ] and [ɮ]? OMG I love it! No I'm just kidding, but I actually like those sounds.

The sound represented by <л> has been analyzed as [ɬ] or [ɮ]. So, there's probably variation among speakers. I use [ɬ] and that's the one I think I've been hearing by most speakers.
