Sorry about the slightly spammy title. :P Anyway, there has been rather an influx of spam robots that have registered as users here, and they've been busily cluttering up this sub-forum with near-incomprehensible spam posts and threads. As well as simply being obnoxious, these spammers may be posting links designed to infect your computer, or so I've been told, and for that reason I'd greatly appreciate it if you could all refrain from clicking those links. I'd also like it if you could all either pester Simon to ban the spammers, keep the legitimate threads on here afloat, or both. Thanks! :) You'll be contributing to the enjoyability of Omniglot.

Is anyone actually paying attention here, or is the only activity on here that of the spammers?

I'm currently trying to find all the spammy accounts and remove them.

Thank you. That's great. :) I haven't seen any more spam lately either.
