It's a new semester and there are many students here. I want to know what your classes are if you're a student for this new semester/year. If you aren't in High School/College/GED program you could list other classes you might be taking such as language classes, etc.

I'll start I guess:
1. English
2. Algebra 2
3. Spanish
4. World History AP
5. Biology

Compulsory:
English
Irish
Maths
French and German (one modern european language is a prerequisite for university entry)
Options:
Physics
Chemistry
Design and Communication Graphics (maybe known outside and in Ireland as Technical Graphics or Drawing)
Applied Maths

6 is the minimum amount of subjects for Leaving Cert.

BTW, what is Algebra 2? Is that harder than Algebra 1? When I say Maths, that includes Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry etc.

Algebra 2 is harder than Algebra 1, it's like a continuation. At my school, and probably others, the four years of math are; Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry/Math Analysis. BUT some students like me took Algebra 1 in Jr High so the four years are; Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig/MA, Calculus. Each course is suppose to build on the others and I really don't know why geometry splits the two years of algebra. My geometry teacher told us, his class, that it wasn't a good idea.

I hope you understand me, the message is kind of jumbled.

I'll be starting my third year of university in September, my program is classical archaeology. Here are my courses:

1. Introduction to Human Osteology
2. Latin (third year)
3. Greek (first year)
4. Classics 101 (yep, I'm only just taking it now)
5. The Hellenistic and Roman Near East
6. Archaeology and the Physical Sciences

Six courses, looks like I'll be busy. Their all required except osteology but I was going to have another chance to take it. And I mean, come on, bones are awesome.

I'm going to Senior Secondary this September, and I'm one of the first students to experience the 3-3-4 system (3 years JS, 3 years SS, 4 years U, while the old system is 3-2-2-3 from UK).
Compulsary:
Chinese
English
Maths
Liberal Studies (Discuss news and stuff)

And I've chosen:
Phy Chem Bio as 2 subjects, as 2 of which will combine into "combined science" in SS2.
ICT (IT, CIT, or whatever you call it :? )

There are extensions for Maths, and I've decided to have Extension 2 [Algebra and Calculus?]
Some may study 1 more subject by themselves, and that makes a maximum of 8 subjects in the new HKDSE (Diploma for Secondary Education?) Exam 3 years later.
