I taught a crash course in Spanish for elementary school teachers once and have taught college-level Italian for a year. ...But during my sophomore year in high school, I met a friend who was a Latino, and he taught me that speaking Spanish is actually AWESOME! So as he tutored me, I went from struggling to say "Hola" because I was so timid to being able to have full on conversations by the end of my sophomore year. And all because he didn't start by teaching me Spanish.

...Last summer, I was in charge of basketball instructional class and this summer I worked under Coach CH from Rice for 3 days and learned a variety of drills and other coaching strategies and techniques. I am the assistant varsity and head junior varsity basketball coach at Southwest Christian. I have a Bachelor's degree in Religion and a Master's degree in Divinity from TCU.
