...While I am not personally a fan of homework in my classroom, I do believe students need to study and practice to succeed. I believe that when students "play" with the material, they are able to master the information and concepts more effectively. I am able to help with test taking strategies, organization skills, essay coaching, and homework in general.

...It sounds simple, and I believe it should be. I like to incorporate the senses and get kids out of their chairs. In the ESL classroom my students write and perform dialogues, teach one another new vocabulary through games, write acronyms to remember concepts and systems, sing songs with target vocabulary, anything that keeps them active and interactive in a learning environment.
