Since Elementary Math is the foundation for any student's math career, I like to make sure they really grasp the concepts by showing them shortcuts and easy ways to remember math ideas. ...They offer SES tutoring to students in the East Bay area. While working there I have taught reading/writing/phonics/ESL and helped with students that have learning disabilities. I use the phonics method, putting a heavy emphasis on encouraging students to sound out their words instead of taking guesses, and have had much success.
